The gentle hum of the library was a soothing balm to David's frayed nerves. He had spent the morning lost in a captivating historical biography, the weight of the outside world momentarily forgotten. He leaned back in his chair, feeling a sense of deep quietude. The scent of old paper and ink filled his lungs, a familiar comfort.

A young man, looking lost and a little anxious, approached his table. "David?" he asked tentatively.

"Yes," David replied, looking up.

"My doctor told me to find you. Said…we share a…problem." The young man wrung his hands.
